Answers That Move With You
Soft Tissue Recovery—Explained
We focus on movement, not just manipulation. Here’s what you need to know.
What does "soft-tissue-first" care mean?
It means we start with fascia, muscles, and movement instead of jumping to joint adjustments. This lets us treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
Are adjustments required at Island Edge?
Not at all. Many of our patients never receive adjustments. We focus on muscle work, manual therapy, and rehab-based treatment.
How long are your appointments?
Most sessions are longer than traditional chiropractic visits. This gives us time for assessment, treatment, and real recovery work.
Do you help with post-surgical recovery?
Yes. We support recovery from surgeries like mastectomies, lymph node removal, and injuries involving scar tissue or restricted movement.
What other services do you offer?
In addition to soft tissue therapy, we provide Registered Massage Therapy, FAKTR, Graston Technique, and individualized rehab planning.
